Midwifery without being on call!

Want to work as a midwife with the beautiful Hispanic women of the El Paso - Juárez area? Casa de Nacimiento has openings for full and part time staff midwives.

We are looking for enthusiastic midwives who are able to provide midwifery care to our clients and instruction to our interns.

  • Credentials: Texas Midwifery License/CPM (CPM may apply for TX License)
  • Must have current CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation
  • Must be able to supervise and instruct interns
  • Spanish language for basic communication and birth is necessary (some considerations can be made)
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, including nights and weekends

    • The essential duties are as follows:

  • Provides full scope of midwifery care (prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and well-woman services) to clients
  • Provides health education and counseling to clients
  • Maintain client records
  • Participates in staff meetings and peer review
  • Performs other related duties as required
  • Maintain educational requirements for licensing
