Professional, midwives, staff and interns at Casa provide nutritional, educational, emotional, and psychological support to our clients.  They recognize that each birth is special and requires individualized assessment and care so that when the birth occurs, the possibilities of problems are greatly reduced.

Our service to you is based on the knowledge that the best maternal/infant outcomes occur when intervention is relied on only when necessary.

The best start on a new life can be achieved when you as the mother act as a vital participant in all aspects of the birth process. It is a joy when your birth is allowed to proceed naturally, while supported by both loved ones and our Midwives.

Most people cannot imagine a birth without intervention. Traditional birth in America has become a medical event, accompanied by standard practices such as IV's, epidurals, drugs, fetal heart monitors and episiotomies.

It is these practices, combined with the lack of nutritional and emotional support during labor, that can often lead to complications, many times resulting in Cesarean section.

But at Casa, it doesn't have to be this way. Our goal is to help facilitate a safe and natural birth without cutting or tearing. Using loving support and encouragement on an individual basis, we monitor mother and baby helping to ensure a gentle, natural, and safe delivery.
